University life can be demanding — managing coursework, exams, social life, and future plans often creates stress and distraction. This 8-week mindfulness course is designed specifically to help university students navigate these challenges with greater calm and clarity.

This mindfulness training consists of a 8-week journey to discover your mind, emotions, and body.

Being fully present, paying attention to what is happening in a curious and non-judgmental way, is the foundation of mindfulness.

By learning the basic techniques of mindfulness meditation, you will learn to consider a new perspective on fear and anxiety, recognize automatic responses, connect with metaphors that lead to a new understanding of your Self, and cultivate attitudes and feelings such as trust, gratitude, joy, and kindness.

Journal writing, in resonance with selected inspirations from a bibliography of sacred poetry from various time periods, will allow you to chart and deepen your individual journey of discovery within the group.

Your guide

The creator and host of the initiative is Elisa Barbieri, Mindfulness facilitator, expert in autobiographical methodology and official trainer of the Free University of Autobiography of Anghiari. She has been practicing Mindfulness and Yoga since 2012.
